Welcome to my webpage!
I am an international student of Physics and Mathematics at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). I was born, raised and I still live in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, MX. I wanted to become a scientist since I was 15 years old and discovered my love for Physics when I turned 17.
As an undergraduate student, I had experiences on nuclear physics and its intersection with particle physics, as well as on condensed matter physics. Currently, I am working on Self-Interaction Correction and other improvements to exchange-correlation functionals on Density Functional Approximations.
As I worked out my path to college, I didn't meet a Physicist from my community. In response, I started this webpage aiming to show my career path and promote scientific endeavors among the youth who may have had little guidance about where to start.
I hope that you find this somehow useful.
