I am a Postdoctoral Scholar and Affiliate Fellow at The Ohio State University's (OSU) Center for Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics.
I was born and raised in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, just across the border from El Paso, Texas, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics from the University of Texas at El Paso
(To answer your question: yes, I commuted daily).
After that, I came to OSU to do my Ph.D. in Astroparticle Physics.
My research focuses on searches for ultrahigh energy (UHE) neutrinos. I am currently a member of the Askaryan Radio Array (ARA), the Radio Neutrino Observatory at Greenland (RNO-G), and the Tau Air-shower Mountain-Based Observatory (TAMBO).
More broadly, I aim to enable the detection of UHE neutrinos and use them to probe fundamental physics, physics beyond the Standard Model, and properties of extreme astrophysical environments.
