Welcome to my webpage!
I am a Physics PhD student at the Ohio State University.
I was born and raised in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, MX. I wanted to become a scientist since I was 15 years old and discovered my love for Physics when I turned 17.
Recently, I obtained my bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics at the University of Texas at El Paso. As an undergraduate student, I had experiences on nuclear physics and its intersection with neutrino physics, as well as on condensed matter theory. My latest project dealt with self-interaction correction and other improvements to exchange-correlation functionals in density functional approximations.
As I worked out my path to college, I did not meet a Physicist from my community. In response, I created this webpage aiming to show my career path and promote scientific endeavors among the youth.
I hope that you find this somehow useful.
Sincerely,
